Night of Science and Arts

A night of hands-on physics, chemistry, engineering and arts demonstrations led by Alfred University faculty and students. All families are invited to watch over 50+ demos, eat liquid nitrogen ice cream, and enjoy dinner at Ade Dining Hall (kids eat free!). Thursday, September 26 from 5-8pm in the McMahon Engineering Building and the Harder Hall Lobby

Come learn about physics, chemistry, engineering, and glass science! Create sugar glass and fiber, watch fire dance to music, learn about why gummy bears explode, and play with robots! Come create art and clay sculptures, eat liquid nitrogen ice cream, and cotton candy!

Have dinner at Ade Dining Hall for a discounted family rate, kids 12 years and under eat free!

The Night of Science & Art is completely free and geared toward elementary school students and their parents, though we are certain that everyone will have fun!
